Job DescriptionDescription: Job Description The individual will be doing hands-on repair, assembly, soldering, or re-manufacture of mechanical and electromechanical components utilizing company provided approved data. The technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electromechanical, and machined assemblies sent in for repair evaluation by our customers. Training, technical documents, and oversight are provided by PG Aerotech management. Essential Responsibilities • Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training., • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area., • Correctly, concisely, and legibly fill out all company forms and reports as required by management (both written and online)., • Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management., • Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary., • Assist in basic shop upkeep and maintenance including routine cleaning of the technician’s work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments., • The ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings as well as a basic background check., • 2 or more years of similar or related work experience; similar experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair will be considered., • Technician candidate must own his or her own set of basic hand tools., • Applicant must have at the least a moderate level of experience and proficiency with general electrical soldering and/or circuit board level soldering., • The ability to follow instructions and work to a written procedure concisely and accurately., • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English., • Applicants must be able to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions.
