Your responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary environment essential to patient care and assisting registered nurses, procedure technicians, and physicians as needed. You will need to recognize and respond effectively to emergency situations, maintaining a calm demeanor. Proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials are critical components of this role, as is daily restocking of the workspace to established par levels while minimizing waste. Additionally, checking for outdated sterile supplies and instruments is essential to uphold the quality of care. By functioning independently within your scope of practice, you will ensure that current standards of care are consistently met, providing exceptional service to our patients.
