Maintenance & Installation: • Perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service of refrigeration equipment., • Maintain transport refrigeration systems on trucks, trailers, APUs, V-series units, gensets, and buses using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers for diagnostics., • Install new Thermo King units on trailers, trucks, V-series units, and APUs as required. Documentation & Communication: • Maintain accurate records of transport refrigeration unit services on trucks, trailers, APUs, and gensets by reviewing shop orders and preparing estimates., • Document the details of repairs needed or completed. General Duties: * Perform other duties and functions as directed by management to support the dealership's objectives. Qualifications: • 2+ years’ experience diagnosing and repairing Thermo King, Carrier, APUs, gensets, and V-series units., • Skilled in using diagnostic tools, scanners, and multi-meters., • Knowledge of freon systems, leak detection, soldering, and refrigeration component replacement. Able to perform preventative maintenance, installations, and accurate repair documentation., • EPA 608/609 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)., • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in shop/outdoor conditions.
