Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Diagnostic Radiology (Outpatient) Location: White Plains, NY Employment Type: Full-Time (Day Shift) Department: Diagnostic Radiology / Imaging Services Facility Type: Outpatient Medical Center Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in our outpatient center in White Plains, NY. The RN will play a key role in ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after radiological procedures such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology exams. This is a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality care and excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities: • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures in an outpatient setting., • Perform pre-procedure assessments, including history taking, medication reconciliation, and IV insertion when required., • Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure care and instructions., • Administer medications, including contrast agents and sedation (as per protocols and certifications)., • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, patient-centered care., • Educate patients and families about procedures, follow-up care, and any potential side effects or complications., • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR., • Follow all safety protocols related to radiation, infection control, and patient care., • Respond to emergency situations in the radiology suite (e.g., contrast reactions, cardiac events)., • Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License - required, • BLS and ACLS certification - required, • Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience - radiology, emergency, or critical care preferred, • Prior experience in radiology or procedural nursing strongly preferred, • Strong IV and phlebotomy skills, • Excellent communication and patient care skills, • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, • Day Shift, Monday through Friday, • No weekends, holidays, or on-call required, • Competitive salary, • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with employer match, • Paid time off and holidays, • Continuing education support We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance (FCIHO), Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (ULAC), The San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance (FCO) , and the California Fair Chance Act (CFCA).
