Position Overview Supervised by the Assistant Principal of Student Services at the network, the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides services for students with speech, language, and hearing impairments, helping students to adjust and access the general education curriculum. The SLP collaborates with teachers to support high impact language intervention and evaluations. Successful NSLPs consistently help students achieve - collecting, analyzing, and implementing data-based strategies regularly for both the students on their caseload and also students that have been identified as needing additional support. The SLP is in current possession of ASHA Certification and New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology. This position requires a positive, flexible, solutions-oriented, organized, and innovative specialist. POSITION OVERVIEW Under supervision of the PROS Program Director, the Behavioral Specialist is responsible for the provision of recovery support and goal planning with caseload of psychiatrically diagnosed individuals. The Behavior Specialist serves as a key member of the PROS team, providing behavioral assessment, intervention, training, community outreach efforts with scheduled home visits to participants, and consultation for adults with serious mental illness (SMI) or co-occurring disorders who are engaged in a recovery-oriented community program. The role aims to support participants in achieving meaningful life goals, improving functioning, reducing problematic behaviors, enhancing community integration, and supporting staff in programmatic behavior management.
