This role requires a strong outpatient background and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer therapeutic treatments to restore function and prevent disability following injury, illness, or surgery. Key Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations * Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and functional goals * Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed * Complete timely documentation including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries * Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care * Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies * Meet productivity standards and support quality improvement initiatives * Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation Required Qualifications * Active New York State Physical Therapist License (Required) * Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation practices * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment Preferred Qualifications * 1–2+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience * Experience treating orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports-related injuries * Prior hospital-based outpatient experience * Experience with EPIC EMR (Highly Preferred) * Strong manual therapy and patient education skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-806-4227. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with surgical instrumentation, sterilization procedures, and central sterile processing workflows in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires excellent technical ability, attention to detail, and the capability to support high-volume surgical operations efficiently.
