The Lead Caregiver is a mentor, advocate, trainer, and leader who helps ensure clients receive outstanding care while supporting the growth and success of fellow caregivers. This role combines hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities, including onboarding new clients, training caregivers, conducting quality assurance visits, and serving as a trusted resource for clients, families, and the care team. Benefits & Perks • Competitive pay with overtime and holiday differentials, • Guaranteed 40 hours per week, • Flexible scheduling and paid time off, • Paid certifications and continuing education, • Supportive leadership and open-door culture, • Employee recognition and appreciation events, • Career growth opportunitiesResponsibilities Client Care & Leadership • Launch new client cases and establish a positive care experience, • Provide direct care and support with personal hygiene, mobility, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders, • Introduce and train permanent caregivers on client care plans, • Fill open shifts and provide support during staffing needsQuality Assurance, • Conduct client check-ins and caregiver site evaluations, • Complete home safety assessments and identify areas for improvement, • Assist with client reassessments and incident investigations, • Document care observations and plan-of-care updatesTraining & Team Support, • Mentor and coach caregivers, • Provide skills training and competency evaluations, • Support caregivers preparing for HCA or NAC testing, • Serve as a role model for professionalism and quality careOperations Support, • Assist with after-hours and on-call responsibilities as assigned, • Respond to urgent staffing needs and client concerns, • Maintain accurate client documentation and reportingQualifications, • Current NAC certification in Washington (or equivalent certification in Idaho), • 3+ years of professional caregiving experience (leadership experience preferred), • CPR and First Aid certification, • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills, • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance, • Ability to pass required background checks, • Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers, • Comfortable using mobile apps or electronic documentation systemsPreferred, • Nurse Delegation: Medication Certification, • Nurse Delegation: Diabetes CertificationSchedule, • Full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, • Most assignments occur between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, • Some evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities may be required, • Mileage reimbursement between client assignmentsCare to Stay Home is committed to enriching lives through compassionate care, meaningful relationships, and unwavering support.
