Nurse Practitioner Supervisor (Queens, NY) Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly) Shift: Days (5 Days Onsite) Hours: Varies Pay: $155,000.00 - $190,000.00 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) Supervisor to lead our team of Nurse Practitioners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of NP operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Responsibilities: • Clinical Oversight, • Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and clinical leadership to a team of Nurse Practitioners., • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory requirements., • Review charts, provide feedback on patient management, and support NPs with complex or high-acuity cases as needed., • Quality Assurance, • Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction., • Evaluate NP performance through regular chart audits, peer reviews, and formal performance evaluations., • Scheduling and Staffing, • Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage NP schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage., • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of new Nurse Practitioners., • Professional Development, • Identify educational and clinical development needs of the NP team., • Facilitate ongoing professional development, continuing education, and skills advancement., • Stay current with nursing practice standards, clinical guidelines, and healthcare advancements, integrating them into practice., • Collaboration and Communication, • Foster strong interdisciplinary relationships with physicians, nurses, PAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care., • Serve as a liaison between the NP team and departmental or organizational leadership., • Compliance, • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing NP practice, as well as organizational policies and procedures., • Uphold standards related to HIPAA, ethical practice, and professional nursing conduct., • Problem-Solving, • Address and resolve issues related to NP practice, patient care, workflow, or team dynamics in a timely, professional, and effective manner. Requirements:, • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in NY., • Graduation from an accredited Master’s or Doctoral Nurse Practitioner program., • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner through an accredited certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP)., • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner., • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred., • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities., • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice regulations, clinical guidelines, and best practices., • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. #AC1 #ACP
