Paralegal – Real Estate (5+ Years) 📍 New York - Manhattan 💰 $90,000 - $160,000 Global law firm committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture where every colleague's contribution is valued. They are recruiting a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join their Hospitality & Leisure practice group, supporting complex transactions across acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and more. WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT • Support a dedicated Real Estate practice group with a diverse and sophisticated deal flow, • Exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, debt and equity financings, and entity structuring, • Direct collaboration with practice group leaders, attorneys, clients, and outside professionals, • Competitive compensation with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement WHAT YOU'LL DO • Perform and coordinate due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports and underlying documents, • Assist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents, • Coordinate closings for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings - managing signature page packages, closing checklists, recording requirements, and closing books with detailed indices, • Prepare, review and file UCC financing statements; order and evaluate UCC, lien, litigation and similar searches, • Handle entity formation and maintenance along with related filings, • Review and assemble officer's certificates, resolutions, organisational documents, and other closing deliverables, • Conduct routine fact or legal research, prepare reports, and handle associated filings as needed, • Interface with firm clients and outside entities on assigned matters WHO YOU ARE • Minimum 5 years of real estate experience, preferably in a law firm, in-house legal department, or title company, • Proven experience with large and sophisticated transactions; title and survey proficiency required, • Hospitality or leisure industry experience is a plus, • Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage simultaneous projects with minimal supervision, • Superior client service and communication skills - written and verbal, • Able to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure, • Comfortable working with lawyers, paraprofessionals, and business services colleagues at all levels, • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; able to maintain discretion with confidential matters, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, document management software, and Elite or similar timekeeping software, • Ability to work overtime as needed EDUCATION • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree required, or, • Paralegal Certificate with equivalent experience BENEFITS PACKAGE • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with profit sharing, • Short-term and long-term disability coverage, • Life insurance, • Tuition reimbursement, • Paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses If this role aligns with your experience or if you’re interested in learning about other opportunities, please reach out directly: 📧 📞 (862) 407 602
