Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a company in a busy industry that is searching for a Data Entry Specialist to support their accounting team. The main responsibility of this individual is to support billing and invoicing. This individual will support various team members and will assist with the front office operations when needed. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of professional work experience, be extremely accurate, and be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment. This position is a temporary to hire role for someone who is looking for a long-term fit in a role where you will get to assist different contributors. The manager is looking for someone who will work fully onsite in the Bellevue, WA office. Responsibilities • Inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data into company databases, spreadsheets, and systems according to established guidelines and deadlines., • Reviewing source documents for completeness and clarity prior to entry, ensuring that incomplete or ambiguous information is flagged and resolved in a timely manner., • Performing regular data audits to identify and correct errors, duplications, or inconsistencies, maintaining the integrity and quality of all datasets., • Assisting in the preparation and generation of reports, summaries, and spreadsheets for management and other teams as requested., • Maintaining confidentiality and security of all sensitive company and client information., • Communicating clearly and effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to resolve data-related issues and support company operations., • Adhering to data entry procedures, standards, and protocols to optimize workflow and minimize errors., • Providing support to other administrative functions as needed, including greeting visitors or answering phones. Qualifications, • At least a year of professional office or accounting experience is preferred., • Proficiency in common office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with database management systems, CRM platforms, or industry-specific tools is highly valued., • Ability to consistently type at least 50 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy., • Exceptional focus on accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all aspects of data entry and review., • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize assignments, and meet tight deadlines., • Clear verbal and written communication skills, particularly for clarifying data issues and collaborating with colleagues., • Ability to spot and resolve data discrepancies, errors, or missing information using logical reasoning and available resources., • Understanding of the importance of privacy and discretion when handling sensitive business or personal information.
