This role offers structured paid training, hands-on experience, and mentorship, setting technicians up for long-term success in a growing and recession-resistant industry. As a Residential Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting home security systems. After completing a , you will work independently in customers' homes to install and program security equipment while delivering a high level of customer service. After training, responsibilities include: • Install door and window contacts, motion sensors, glass break detectors, smoke detectors, and other add-on components, • Troubleshoot system, wiring, and connectivity issues as needed, • Educate customers on the proper use of their security system and mobile applications, • Complete job documentation, inventory tracking, and equipment verification accurately, • Maintain a professional presence in customers' homes at all times, • Ensure installations are completed correctly the first time to avoid return visits ("go-backs"), • Technicians should be comfortable working around pets, children, and a variety of home environments, • Must be able to access attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas as needed, • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade, • Reliable transportation, • Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools (drill, screwdrivers, wire cutters, etc.), • Strong communication and customer service skills, • Punctual, dependable, and professional demeanor, • Comfortable working independently in customers' homes, • Ability to pass a BGC and drug screening, • Basic hand tools: screwdrivers, drill, wire cutters, sheetrock saw, • Residential alarm systems, • CCTV and surveillance technology, • Low-voltage wiring, • Medical, dental & vision, • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital, • 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available, • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents), • Short and long-term disability, • Health Spending Account (HSA), • Transportation benefits, • Employee Assistance Program We're partners in transformation.
