Best Workplace. For more information, visit thehwpgroup.com. What You Need to Know We’re looking to add an Associate Director, Financial Operations to our Business Compliance team. This role oversees all aspects of reporting, reconciliation, and compliance operations for assigned speaker bureau clients, ensuring accurate processing of speaker payments, final reconciliation of speaker bureau programs, and transfer of value reporting. The position includes day-to-day supervision of staff and both internal and external client communication. What You’ll Do The Associate Director, Financial Operations is accountable to the AVP Financial Operations and SVP Business Compliance, speakers, and clients. In addition, this role will: • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and address inquiries, • Oversee reporting, reconciliation, and compliance operations related to the assigned speaker bureau clients, • Ensure the accurate processing of speaker payments and the final reconciliation for speaker bureau programs, • Provide day-to-day staff supervision, • Contribute to training and onboarding initiatives within and across departments, • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, business compliance, or related roles, • Deep understanding of compliance factors in the life sciences industry, with a proven track record of navigating regulatory requirements, • Expertise in compliance and aggregate spend management, including Closeout and Transfer of Value reporting for Speaker Programs (e.g., Sunshine Act), • Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, including data and accounting systems management, • Strong accounting knowledge, • Comprehensive knowledge of industry compliance rules, specifically related to Closeout processes, Aggregate Spend, and reporting obligations, • Leadership and supervisory skills, including mentoring and guiding team members, • Immediate eligibility for all benefits, including medical, dental, vision, group term life, short-term and long-term disability, • Benefits 100% company paid, • 401k plan employer matching contributions, • Eligibility for company sponsored incentive plans, • Generous PTO, including a week off in December for the holidays, • Paid volunteer time off, • Tuition reimbursement, • On-site gym and other employee wellness initiatives, • Employee Assistance Program, • Comp pay or comp time for onsite weekend work, • Availability of cell-phone stipends, based on business need, • Leadership development training program and other career development programs, • Remote and hybrid work schedule options, • Office locations in Upper Saddle River NJ (HQ), Red Bank NJ, and San Diego CA Please note, we will only respond to candidates we deem qualified
