Job DescriptionJob Title: Assistant Director – Clinical Applications & EHR Training Location: New York, NY Contract Duration: 6 Months Work Arrangement: On-Site Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director to support clinical applications, EHR training initiatives, and operational leadership within a healthcare environment. This role serves as a consultant and resource to departmental leadership, helping develop, implement, and optimize programs, systems, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Epic training experience, project management expertise, and hands-on involvement in full-cycle EHR implementations and support activities. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Required QualificationsEpic & Technical Experience • Minimum 5 years of Epic training experience, • Epic Certification in MST, TED 300, or other Epic modules, • Full-cycle EHR implementation experience, • EHR optimization and support experience, • Project management experience, • Ability to work all three shifts as operational needs requireEducation One of the following is required: Master's Degree in: • Healthcare Administration, • Hospital Administration, • Public Administration, • Business Administration, • Industrial/Organizational Psychology, • Organizational Behavior, • Related field Plus: 3 years of relevant administrative management experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role OR Bachelor's Degree in: • Healthcare Administration, • Hospital Administration, • Public Administration, • Business Administration, • Psychology, • Related discipline Plus: 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role OR • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operational Support, • Serve as a consultant and resource to departmental leadership., • Support the development, execution, and management of departmental services and initiatives., • Assist with administrative oversight of operational functions and strategic projects., • Interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures.Program Development & Process Improvement, • Participate in the design and implementation of new programs, systems, and workflows., • Monitor effectiveness and recommend process improvements., • Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives., • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.Epic Training & EHR Support, • Lead and support Epic training programs and educational initiatives., • Assist with EHR implementation, optimization, and adoption strategies., • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to improve workflows and user experience., • Support change management and end-user readiness activities.Research & Project Management, • Conduct research studies and operational analyses., • Gather and analyze data to develop recommendations for leadership., • Manage special projects and strategic initiatives., • Develop implementation plans, timelines, and performance metrics.Financial & Compliance Oversight, • Monitor departmental budgets and project-related expenditures., • Evaluate policies, procedures, and systems for regulatory compliance., • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies., • Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives.Staff & Stakeholder Collaboration, • Coordinate and oversee staff activities related to assigned projects., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop practical operational solutions., • Represent departmental leadership on committees, task forces, and workgroups., • Foster strong communication and stakeholder engagement across the organization.Preferred Skills, • Epic Training Environment Development (TED) experience, • Clinical systems training and curriculum development, • Healthcare operations management, • Change management and user adoption strategies, • Data analysis and reporting, • Process improvement methodologies, • Budget and resource management, • Strong leadership and team development skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities For more details reach at resumes@navitassols.com
