Job Description The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC), located in the heart of New York City, seeks a LVT Director of OR. Job Description The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City is seeking a highly motivated, team-spirited veterinarian who is board certified or board eligible in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation to join our wonderful team of rehabilitation certified practitioners and residents. You will not find a hospital that practices a higher level of medicine while fostering camaraderie and dedication to patient care than AMC. Our team is led by a board-certified diplomate (DACVSMR), 3 certified rehabilitation practitioners, and 2 rehabilitation certified resident veterinarians pursuing board certification. Our equipment and capabilities comprise 2 under water treadmills, Hakomed hydrotub, digatherm, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, photobiomodualtion (3 units), therapeutic ultrasound, NMES, TENS, mesenchymal stem cell therapy, PRP, and objective gait analysis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, in addition to standard exercise equipment. Successful candidates must be rehabilitation certified (CCRT/CCRP) and board certified or board eligible (DACVSMR). Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Anesthesiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. There are ample leadership opportunities in our growing practice, and although we don't handle heart surgeries or transplants, we do encounter occasional pediatric cases involving children over 2 years old. Furthermore, our colleagues boast fellowships in OB anesthesia, Peds anesthesia, Pain Management, Critical Care, and Cardiothoracic anesthesia. We typically handle around 300-360 OR cases per month, with fewer than 100 deliveries per month and a labor epidural rate of approximately 80%. Additionally, our off-site areas include MRI, IR, and an endoscopy/bronchoscopy suite, with the endo suite located in the same area as the main ORs. We currently have 6 main ORs and no office anesthesia or freestanding outpatient facility.
