Position Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapy Aide to join our Rehabilitation team. The Aide will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants to support the delivery of patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in rehabilitation services or preparing for a future in physical therapy, nursing, or allied health professions. Key Responsibilities: • Assist therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment, • Escort residents to and from therapy sessions, • Support residents during therapeutic exercises and activities, • Maintain a clean and safe environment by disinfecting equipment and organizing therapy spaces, • Monitor and report resident progress or changes to licensed staff, • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing supplies, and scheduling as needed, • Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and safety at all times, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required, • Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred, • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain), • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment, • Physical stamina to assist with lifting, transferring, and prolonged standing/walking, • Supportive and mission-driven culture, • Opportunities for growth and development, • Beautiful, well-maintained campus, • Employee recognition programs
