Flexible Scheduling: • Part time positions available, • Shifts available Monday through Friday and weekends if desired, • Shifts available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends BAYADA Offers Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs): • Employee Appreciation Events, • BCBA oversight, • Professional development, • Career advancement opportunities, • Weekly Pay Schedule, • Competitive pay rates of $21 - $31 / hour Qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): • One year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferred, • Valid RBT certification, • CPR/FA certification Responsibilities for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): • Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan/behavior support plan for implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures., • Establish and maintain effective, supportive, and therapeutic relationships with clients & families., • Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families., • Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist., • Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner., • Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan., • Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist in order to strategize program improvements., • As applicable to the treatment plan, provide habilitation, training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals., • As applicable, provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment plan., • Provide training and/or support to the client in interpersonal skills, the development and maintenance of personal relationships, and in living in his/her community., • Monitor health status and physical condition and reports any changes in the client's condition or other incidents to the office. Job Title: Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Type: Part-Time Location: Oak Ridge, NJ 07438 In-home Position Overview: Strides ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician RBT to provide in-home, community-based, or daycare services for children with developmental disabilities. As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In this role, the Registered Behavior Technician RBT will implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life. The Registered Behavior Technician RBT is key to delivering structured therapy and ensuring consistent progress. Our ideal Registered Behavior Technician RBT will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential. Above all, the Registered Behavior Technician RBT will uphold professional standards, maintain compassion, and advocate for each child’s needs. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center. * Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA. * Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress. * Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care. * Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client. * Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families. Qualifications: * Must be RBT certified or willing to become certified (We provide resources for RBT certification if not currently certified). * Must be at least 18 years old. * High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (due to the physical nature of the role and potential to assist clients with mobility). * Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for community and in-home services). * Ability to pass a background check. Skills & Abilities: * Basic knowledge of ABA principles preferred but not required (training will be provided). Legal Requirements: * Adherence to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and data protection. * Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting. * Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed.
