Job Description Technician Job Description Overview: The Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and building systems. He performs the Daily Facility Inspection and submits all required reports daily. In addition to the Daily Facility Inspection Report, the Technician is responsible for scheduling routine and required inspections of the Life Safety Systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency generators. The Technician is the person most responsible for the continued inspection, maintenance and control of the physical building and its systems.
