Job Description Job description: Alfa Romeo/Maserati Englewood Cliffs is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our service department. We seek a motivated, professional, and customer-focused individual who excels at communication, organization, and building strong customer relationships in a fast-paced dealership environment. Pay: Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives $85-$140k Schedule: Monday–Friday 8-6pm About the Role As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles in for service and repairs. You will greet guests, listen to concerns, accurately document vehicle issues, provide clear cost and time estimates, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, high-quality repairs. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to manage multiple service orders and priorities while maintaining accurate records in the dealership management system. What We Offer * Opportunities for advancement (we promote from within) * Employee discounts * 401(k) * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Professional development and OEM training * Performance-based incentives and commission opportunities Responsibilities * Greet customers promptly and professionally; listen to and document vehicle concerns * Provide accurate repair estimates, recommended services, and clear explanations of work to customers * Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow between service advisors, technicians, and parts * Maintain accurate and timely repair orders, customer communications, and service status updates in the DMS/CRM * Work with technicians to prioritize jobs, obtain approvals for additional repairs, and ensure quality control * Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction, explain completed work, and promote maintenance plans * Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals, including revenue and customer satisfaction metrics * Perform additional duties as assigned to support service department operations Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or ASE education is a plus * Previous experience as a service advisor, service writer, or in dealership/customer-facing automotive roles preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer-service orientation * Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally to customers * Proficient with computers, DMS/CRM systems, and basic office software * Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Professional demeanor, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work as part of a team * Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record * Bilingual skills are a plus but not required Brooklyn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.
