American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Tacoma, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/27/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Position is based in an acute care cardiac catheterization laboratory, • The unit operates 2 Cath Lab suites and 1 suite for vascular procedures, • Average caseload is 22 cases daily across Cath Lab and EP, including right and left heart caths, structural heart and vascular cases such as TAVR and MitraClip, • Procedures require knowledge of IABP and Impella insertion, • Techs will scrub, monitor, and document during cases, • Uses Epic EMR, MacLab, and GE Imaging equipment, • Day shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call requirements, • Call expectation is approximately 10 days of call within a 6-week period with a 30-minute response time, • Team-focused environment where staff may float between Cath Lab and EP procedures within the combined unit, • Duties include prepping, scrubbing, monitoring, documenting, and supporting recovery for a variety of interventional cardiac and vascular cases, • A lead technologist or charge nurse provides support when staffing allows, • Typical schedule may require work past shift end to ensure completion of urgent cases, • Orientation period is 1 week, • Scrubs are provided, • Teamwork and adaptability are prioritized within this blended cardiovascular environment, • Candidates who have worked for any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility full-time, part-time, or PRN within the last year are not eligible, • Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility for candidates residing in AZ, NV, NE, IA, or MN for travel consideration\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Cath Lab and EP, • Active State or Compact (NLC) License required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted, • Current ARRT, RCIS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required; pending certifications not accepted, • Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery strongly preferred; ICU or PACU background is a plus, • Demonstrated proficiency with right and left heart catheterization, structural heart procedures, IABP and Impella, • Familiarity with Epic charting, MacLab, and GE Imaging systems is required, • Ability to scrub, monitor, and document procedures accurately, • Copy of driver's license must be provided for consideration, • Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
