A Bartender at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Retail team supporting efforts for providing excellent service to our guests. This position involves preparing and serving beverages to guests professionally and courteously and is ideal for someone friendly, detail-oriented, and adaptable. Key Responsibilities • Bar Management and Operations, • Responsible for bar inventory and ordering, bar menu development, and brand management. Perform all primary job duties and responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy., • Collect payments and operate the cash register for drinks and/or food served following company-established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions., • Manage till and secure all money at the end of each shift., • Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with all health ordinances., • Bartending Skills and Service, • Demonstrate detailed expertise in bartending and service for bar guests in a fast-paced environment., • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests., • Responsible for bar team development and accountability., • Compliance and Safety, • Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and managing intoxicated guests., • Adhere to food and beverage safety and sanitation standards at all times., • Customer Service and Team Support, • Assist in wine and spirit training for service team., • Provide exceptional service to each guest., • Responds promptly and adequately to guest requests or concerns., • Required, • High school diploma or GED, • Two or more years of relevant experience, • Five years of experience in the preparation of trending bar menu items and related products., • Equivalent combination of training and experience, • Preferred, • Vast bar knowledge, • Proven success in running inventory and bar program development in a highly competitive market., • Passion for mixology trends and creativity, • Current OLCC License, • Current food handler’s card, • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word and Excel.Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
