TCF Architecture is seeking an Architectural Technical Specifications Writer to support our expanding project portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Develop, write, and maintain architectural specifications across multiple building types, • Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants to align drawings and specifications, • Support office standards, templates, and quality control systems, • Track code updates, material changes, and industry best practices, • Build reusable spec content and improve internal workflows, • Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical deliverables Qualifications • 5+ years of architectural experience with exposure to construction documents or technical coordination, • Experience producing specifications (or strong interest and aptitude for learning), • Familiarity with CSI formats, MasterSpec, or SpecLink preferred, • Solid understanding of building materials, systems, and assemblies, • Strong communication and coordination skills, • Highly organized with an interest in systems and process improvement, • Detail-oriented, curious, and able to work independently across multiple projects If you don’t meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply — aptitude and enthusiasm matter.
