Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob Description The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment within our food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high production standards and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, mixers, pumps, and other plant systems., • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime., • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions., • Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, and utilities as needed., • Follow all safety protocols, GMPs, and food safety regulations (FDA, SQF, HACCP)., • Ensure equipment and work areas meet sanitation and cleanliness standards required in food manufacturing., • Participate in safety audits, inspections, and corrective action plans., • Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records accurately and on time., • Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and identifying needed replacements., • Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement projects., • Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency., • Provide technical support during equipment changeovers and line startups., • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status and repair needs.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food and beverage preferred)., • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills., • Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, pumps, and industrial controls., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints., • Knowledge of GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation requirements., • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with CMMS systems., • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills.
