Job Description Sales Representative – Premium Seafood & Gourmet Foods Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Territory-Based) Job Type: Full-Time Contractor | Draw + Commission Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our Arizona-based team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food sales, especially to fine dining and upscale foodservice accounts, along with a passion for the culinary world and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role focuses on promoting a curated portfolio of premium seafood and gourmet perishable products, and building strong relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, boutique hotels, and specialty retailers. The Sales Representative will play a vital role in helping us expand our presence in the Phoenix metro market and beyond. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients, including fine dining restaurants, hotels, and specialty retailers., • Use your existing book of business to generate sales and open new accounts., • Research and qualify new leads across high-end culinary verticals., • Promote and sell premium seafood, meats, and gourmet food products with an emphasis on education and storytelling., • Conduct product tastings, demos, and in-person presentations related to menu development, plate costing, and ingredient sourcing., • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted promotional campaigns for your accounts., • Stay up to date on industry trends, food safety regulations, and product knowledge., • Participate in sales planning, trade shows, and local culinary events to build brand awareness., • Minimum 1 year of food sales experience, with a proven track record in fine dining or high-end foodservice sales (required)., • Existing book of business in Arizona (required)., • Culinary, foodservice, or hospitality background preferred., • Customer service and relationship-building skills are essential., • Strong communication and presentation skills., • Familiarity with seafood products and gourmet food, or willingness to become an expert., • Culinary skills or experience with meat cutting is a plus., • Tech-savvy, with the ability to use CRM tools and mobile apps for sales reporting and tracking., • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, territory-based sales environment., • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred., • Competitive base salary plus commission with uncapped earning potential, • High-quality, sustainably sourced product portfolio that’s trusted by top chefs nationwide, • Supportive and collaborative team culture, • Opportunities for growth, industry engagement, and culinary education If you’re passionate about food, driven by results, and ready to take your sales career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.
