Job DescriptionParalegal, Employment and Labor Law Department: Legal Reports to: Director of Legal Position Summary The Paralegal, Employment and Labor Law, plays a key role in supporting the development and delivery of a legal technology product by providing accurate, timely, and practical employment and labor law information to customers. This role works closely with cross functional teams to ensure legal content is clear, current, and reliable.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to customer legal inquiries in a clear, professional, and timely manner in accordance with service level agreements Develop, update, and maintain employment and labor law content, including templates, policies, how to guides, checklists, FAQs, and articles for HR professionals Conduct quality assurance reviews of legal content and data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity Monitor, track, and report changes in federal, state, and local employment and labor laws Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to integrate legal insights into the platform Support legal research, documentation, and process improvements to strengthen product reliability and customer trust Mentor and support other paralegals to promote high quality work and collaborationAdditional Responsibilities Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and colleagues across the organization Attend webinars and training sessions to stay current on best practices and legal developments Complete special projects and other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of legal concepts, court systems, and legal documentation Familiarity with employment and labor laws and related regulatory requirements Proficiency in legal research tools and databases Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, user friendly content Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information Adaptability in a fast paced environment with changing prioritiesRequired Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Minimum of five years of paralegal experience, including at least three years focused on employment and labor law Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines, with multi state compliance experience Experience translating legal and regulatory information into practical guidance for non-legal audiences Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience working with legal technology or compliance platforms is a plus Experience supporting or advising HR or compliance teams is preferredLicenses and Certifications No licenses or certifications required #zr
