Job Description Job Description: Club General Manager Job Type: Full-Time Report To: Area Manager Location: 47 Edison Pl, Newark, New Jersey, 07108 As the Club General Manager at City Night-Life Entertainment Corp, you will be responsible for the overall management and successful operation of the club. You will lead all departments, including front-of-house, security, bar, and entertainment, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, financial performance, and compliance with all regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery, • Lead, motivate, and manage department managers and staff to achieve operational goals, • Develop and implement business strategies to maximize profitability and growth, • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any guest complaints promptly, • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing laws and regulations, • Manage budgets, financial reports, and cost controls to meet financial objectives, • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain patrons, • Monitor and enforce security measures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff, • Foster a positive and productive work environment and maintain strong team communication, • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in hospitality, nightlife, or entertainment industries, • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements, • Deep understanding of customer service excellence and staff management, • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and liquor laws, • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred but not required By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
