Job DescriptionSalary: $78,000-$85,000 LOCATION DOROT Westchester, located in White Plains, is a satellite location to our NYC headquarters. The team works on a hybrid schedule. The Manager of Social Work Supported Programs will be expected to work in the office3 days per week primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; however, these days are subject to change occasionally based on business needs. Time will be spent in the office, in the field, and occasionally working remotely. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to theRegional Director of Westchester,the Manager of Social Work Supported Programsservesas a strategic partner to the Regional DirectorandNYCpeers to address abroad array of social work and program matters.The role includes clinical and operational oversight of psycho-social in-home assessments of older adults and the Friendly Visiting program, supervision of social workers and interns and oversight forshort-term caseassistanceand crisis intervention. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: • Contribute to the overall success of the Westchester regional office by being a dynamic, thoughtful, and conscientious leaderthatdemonstratesclinicalexpertiseand creativity in program development and operations., • Work withDOROTsManhattan-basedConstituent andCommunityServices(CCS)teamon a routine basis to ensure programmatic partnership, continuity of practice, and important synergies among portfolios and staff teams., • Develop and supportagency and regional officegoalsandlead new strategic opportunitiesthat arise., • Encourage, track, and share constituent stories to support the agencys work to elevate our impact with our constituents for a variety of purposes., • Represent DOROT at professional meetings/conferences and networking eventsand buildproductiverelationships with community partners and aging service professionals. PRIMARY PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manageandoverseesocial worksupportedprogrammingand servicesfor the Westchester regional office,with a focus on institutional excellence and strategic vision., • Support the refinement, understandingofand compliance withteamoperations,social work best practices,andpolicies in both independent and teamwork.This includes partnership with the Regional Director of Westchester and the CCS Director to:, • Refine and manage workflow to meet portfolio priorities in partnership, • Codify program protocols andestablishprogrammatic enhancements and efficiencies., • Be a partner to theWestchesterProgram Coordinatorwho overseesthe Package Delivery and Birthday RevelerVisitingPrograms, • Inspire, mentor, and oversee a team of social workers responsible for Home Assessment, Friendly Visiting, and other social engagement programs ensuring the best possible service delivery and support for current and prospective DOROT constituents., • Provide clinical supervision of LMSW social workers pursuing their LCSW through the state of NY andMSW intern as well asprogrammatic supervisionofundergraduatecollege interns, • Managekey operational components ofWestchesterssocial work programming and services:, • WithAdvancement,provide content and program metrics for funding proposals/reports and marketing materials., • WithProgram Impact,enhance program impact tools including feedback forms and surveys., • Provision and delegation ofassessment and response to the caseassistanceneeds of older adults, caregivers, and volunteers whorequireadditionaland focused social work support, • Carry asmallcaseload of high-need constituents, • Ensuretimelyandaccuratecollection, tracking, maintenanceof participation data and related interactions/engagements inbothDOROTs online database (Salesforce based) andtheNYS Peer Place Database. This involves routine case notes and data entry; consistent review of statistics; and coordination with the Program Coordinator on monthly and annual grant reports for the Westchester Department of Senior Programs and Services., • Otherprojects asassigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • An LCSW with a minimum of 5 years professional social work experience, demonstrating an increasing level of responsibility; SIFI preferred, • Passion for DOROTs mission, • A proven track record of managing a social work cohort, with at least 3 years ofexperience as a social work supervisor, • Direct experience with and comprehensive understanding of the field of aging and social workbest practices, • Demonstrated experience fostering a spirit of collaboration with staff during both routine and transformational periods, and capacity to address challenges with flexibility, sensitivity, and creativity, • Ability to empower others to achieve results, • Capacity to think strategically, take initiative, and problem solve while incorporating sound clinical judgment, • Knowledge of and experience in working with community network of aging services, ideally in Westchester County, • Experience in effectively utilizing metrics to inform and improve program goals, • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills, • Availability to work up to approximately 5 Sundays per year for programs or events that may not be within the regular scope of work., • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office 365 Suite; familiarity with Salesforceand Peer Placea plus.
