Additionally, the Assistant Director will participate in the 24/7 year-round direct supervision of on-call staff which may include but not limited to consultation, crisis intervention and in-person response to support SVR direct services. This position will work closely with the Training and Prevention team to ensure compliance-based programming, special events and outreach, co-lead the Men's Engagement initiatives and other related efforts, supervise the Peer Advocacy (PA) Program to ensure consistent and high-quality peer-led programming and support services of SVR Helpline. In partnership with the Director and other SVR team members, the Assistant Director will facilitate one-on-one and group supervision of PA volunteers, and coordinate campus and community resources to support students who have experienced any of the previously mentioned forms of trauma or abuse. The candidate who takes on this role will focus on attracting and recruiting actuarial talent for life & health as well as property and casualty roles in both the US and Canada. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will work with each business unit to understand strategic direction and talent needs ultimately designing and executing on talent acquisition campaign strategy. Responsibilities • Assess actuarial talent needs for the business units assigned, • Drive strategic direction of talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and making offers to candidates for open roles and/or pipelining for the future, • Subject matter expert in actuarial recruiting for North America, • Build strong talent pipelines for both Life & Health actuaries as well as Property and Casualty actuaries, • Represent company at career fairs, events, etc. where applicable, • Build strategic talent networks, • Work with HR Business Partners to provide recommendations for compensation, • Other responsibilities or focus areas outside of actuarial may be assigned depending on need, • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (SAP) Qualifications Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities: • 5+ years progressive talent acquisition experience, • Subject matter expert with recruiting actuaries, • Experience recruiting across North America is a plus, • Experience recruiting in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut tri-state area, as well as Toronto, actuarial market preferred, • Ability to drive strategic direction of talent acquisition efforts The base salary range anticipated for this position is $85,000 to $140,000 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position but is dependent on location of hire. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
