General Purpose: Supervises lifeguards the safety and cleanliness of the swimming pools and locker rooms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • A Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Water Safety Instructor is responsible for operating and maintaining the main and child swimming pool and pool deck during the summer months from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend., • Daily inspections of the pool ensure the pool is cleaned regularly throughout the day by lifeguard staff. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Food & Beverage Attendant must complete all tasks and assignments as assigned by the management team, including but not limited to: • Welcome Members and guests to Food & Beverage outlets, • Respond to Member and guest inquiries, providing timely and effective assistance, • Operate outlet register, taking and inputting orders and relaying to kitchen, • Ensure that all orders meet proper presentation and quality standards, • Deliver completed orders in a timely manner, package take-out orders as needed, • Assist in plating of food items for service, and assist Culinary team as needed, • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Food & Beverage outlet, assuring all safety, sanitation and food handling standards are properly met, • Clean outlet preparation and/or serving equipment according to the highest sanitary standards, • Provide support to team members, assisting when necessary to ensure Member and guest orders/requests are received and processed in a timely fashion, • Prior experience in a customer service, hospitality, food & beverage, or similar setting a plus, • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members, and guests, • Must be customer service minded, • Must possess the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask, • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and special events as needed, • This role works primarily within assigned Beach Club Food & Beverage Also must work across various Beach Club areas and outlets as needed. Primary Responsibilities: • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergency, • Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently, • Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services, • Ensures that medical services are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency, • Advance through cross-training in multiple roles and substitutes when necessary, • Assists with cleaning/maintenance as necessary during the shift, • Provide a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team membersJob Qualifications and Skills:, • Must have active Lifeguard certification, • Weekend availability required, • Ability to work with children., • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills., • Must pass background examinations (included with training)., • Instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider a plus!, • High School Diploma/GED required, Some College preferred., • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification will be required. For those not certified, Goldfish Swim School provides certification courses in our facility, which all employees are required to complete within 3 months of employment.
