Purpose of Position As a Registered Behavioral Technician, you will engage directly with clients in a home-based environment, adhering to treatment plans established by the BCBA Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, creating program materials, executing treatment procedures, fostering transparent communication with supervisors, accurately collecting and managing data, and engaging in continuous training and assessments. Additionally, you will support parent training and clinical evaluations, promoting ethical conduct and compliance with Kids First’s policies. Responsibilities • Work 1:1 with clients in the home-based and clinic-based setting., • Consistently follow and implement treatment plans set up by the BCBA Supervisor and prepare program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills., • Maintain open communication with the BCBA Supervisor to review program goals and procedures for each client., • Collect and maintain accurate data and notes utilizing data collection software., • Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations., • Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required by Kids First., • Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed., • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed., • Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the regulatory body to maintain the certification., • Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code., • Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies as well as Kids First’s policies and procedures., • Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent patient care. Reliable transportation and timely arrival to session is a requirement for this role., • Perform other duties as assigned., • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, • Registered Behavior Technician; Or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of start date - Required, • Technical Proficiencies: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Adobe PDF, Google Suite, data collection and analytical reporting - Required, • 3-4 years of experience conducting 1:1 work with clients In-school/in-home experience addressing and navigating challenging behaviors - Required, • 3-4 years of experience working with children/adults (between ages 3-18) - Required, • 3-4 years of experience in Case management and behavioral plans - Required, • 3-4 years of knowledge of direct, professional ABA experience - Required, • CentralReach ABA Software experience - A plus!, • Obtain knowledge of addressing challenging behaviors or stereotypes of children/adults with Autism - Required, • Physical Requirement: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and lifting as needed, including but not limited to climbing up flights of stairs, and other tasks as needed., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, parents, and other professionals when necessary. Job Description Family First Home Companions is a highly reputable in-home caregiving service that helps older adults throughout Long Island and surrounding communities maintain their independence and well-being at home. We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our marketing team and build upon the relationships that we have in the healthcare community in Nassau County, generate referrals for home care clients, and meet with families to convert referrals into new clients. Compensation will include a base salary plus a generous sales commission on all revenue generated by the representative, travel reimbursement, an expense account, and performance bonus. The qualified candidate for this role will have a proven track record for generating referrals through relationship marketing, be a people-person who enjoys interacting with other professionals to build strong relationships and be excited to share how our services make a difference in the lives of older adults. Job Description The Outreach & Marketing Coordinator develops and implements strategies to engage prospective clients and promote the Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) services across the community. • Adult Coordinator – focusing on outreach and marketing with adults. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategies to engage prospective clients and promote MHAW in the community., • Lead project planning for outreach initiatives, including creating detailed project plans, setting milestones, tracking progress, and proactively addressing program growth., • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, private practitioners, hospitals, schools, housing providers, and other agencies across the crisis continuum., • Conduct outreach to school districts, youth programs, child-serving agencies, and adult service providers to strengthen referral pathways and increase awareness of mental health supports., • Facilitate referrals as appropriate to children’s care management (youth-specific)., • Host and participate in engagement activities for prospective clients, families, and referral sources., • Collect, manage, and analyze outreach, intake, and retention data to drive continuous improvement in strategies and tactics., • Visit local hospitals, clinics, schools, community sites, or residential settings to identify potential clients and referral opportunities., • Provide information regarding services to inquiries, including parents, caregivers, youth, and adult clients., • Develop and deliver promotional materials and activities tailored for both adults and youth., • Monitor productivity throughout the year and participate in annual budget preparation., • Understand and respond to regulatory and internal changes to admissions criteria., • Conduct admission screenings and intakes. Skills/Experience/Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, or related field., • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, with specific experience:, • Engaging children, adolescents, and families in social service, educational, or healthcare settings (youth-specific)., • Working with adults in social service, healthcare, benefits navigation, or related environments (adult-specific)., • Familiarity with school systems, committees for special education, children’s care management, wraparound services, and community-based supports (youth-specific)., • Knowledge of housing providers and adult social service systems (adult-specific)., • Minimum 1 year experience conducting marketing and outreach that drives enrollment., • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience., • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits systems., • Strong communication, advocacy, and public speaking skills., • Ability to work across diverse populations.
