Job Description One-Year Retention Bonus: $500 Location: Carlsbad, California Job Title: Physical Therapist Job Type: Part-Time Setting: Manufacturing Hours: Average of 8 hours per week Shifts: Tuesday and Thursday, 12:00pm - 4:00pm, with the ability to start earlier and later down the road Hourly Range: $55 - $65 *on-site hours may vary based on contractual client expectations **hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience Position Overview: A day in the life of a Briotix Health Physical Therapist will include using your clinical knowledge and excellent relationship skills to provide independent, 1:1, work comp treatment to the employees of our clients. This unique, onsite position offers the ability to provide injury prevention, body mechanic coaching, and assistance with the overall health and wellness of the working athletes we serve. Our primary goal is to develop strong relationships and clinical expertise to clients in their work environments. In this role, you will provide both physical therapy and industrial sports medicine professional services within an industrial setting. With the Industrial Sports Medicine services, you may provide: Early discomfort detection and care, curriculum-based training and re-education to the working athlete, body mechanics, job coaching and posture training, pre-shift stretching routine and job-specific physical conditioning. You may complete group and individual assessments, individual screenings, general rapport and relationship building with the working athlete and health topic discussions. You will document interactions and other pertinent information using web-based systems. This position allows for a flexible schedule that works for you, us, and our clients.
