Job DescriptionSummary: The Sports Physical Therapist provides court-side and training-side care to athletes, focusing on injury prevention, performance optimization, and rehabilitation. This role works closely with coaches, trainers, and mindset professionals as part of an integrated performance team supporting athletes of all ages and competitive levels. The ideal candidate is performance-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about helping athletes stay healthy, strong, and competition-ready. What You’ll Do: • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for athletes with musculoskeletal injuries., • Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and recovery modalities., • Design and implement injury prevention and strength and conditioning programs for high-performance athletes., • Provide court-side support and injury management during training and competition as needed., • Collaborate with coaching staff on athlete screening, performance enhancement, and long-term athletic development., • Educate athletes and parents on injury management, recovery strategies, and safe training practices., • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards., • Contribute to ongoing performance discussions and continuous improvement initiatives within the academy., • Assist with scheduling coordination and light administrative support as needed., • Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating accountability, leadership, and a high-performance mindset.Experience You’ll Need:, • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program., • Active Physical Therapy license in New York and Connecticut., • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; sports physical therapy or orthopedic experience strongly desired., • Knowledge of acute and subacute sports injuries; racquet sports experience is a plus., • Experience with injury prevention, return-to-play, and performance enhancement strategies., • Specialty certification (SCS, OCS) preferred., • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills., • Proficiency with digital documentation tools and Google Suite.Why Join:, • Direct involvement in athlete performance and competition environments., • Collaborative culture with coaches, trainers, and performance professionals., • Opportunity to shape injury prevention and performance strategies., • Exposure to high-performance and youth athlete development., • Competitive compensation and long-term professional growth o
