A Day in the Life of the Broadband Network Technician I: An HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) Plant Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs the outside cable plant—fiber optics, coax cables, nodes, and amplifiers—to ensure reliable broadband and video services. They troubleshoot RF signal issues, manage power supplies, and conduct preventative maintenance, often working aloft in bucket trucks.
