Job Description THE OPPORTUNITY This is a hands-on role for a professional who can cut through complexity, synthesize information, and drive progress. You’ll take responsibility for understanding each asset — both in workouts and acquisitions — from every angle: what happened, where things stand, and what must happen next. This role is for someone who can become the connective tissue between data and decision-making — someone who can help shape the firm’s understanding of complex situations and, over time, grow into a leadership role within the firm. WE ARE HIRING FOR TWO POSITIONS, A SENIOR AND A MID-LEVEL POSITION. COMPENSATION DETERMINED BY SENIORITY AND FIT. WHAT YOU’LL DO Asset & Portfolio Analysis • Collect, organize, and interpret property- and loan-level data across workouts, restructurings, and acquisitions., • Identify and clarify key facts — what happened, the current position, and the actions needed to move forward., • Synthesize inputs from leases, operating statements, loan documents, and market data into clear conclusions that inform strategy., • Evaluate property operations and their effect on financing structures — both for new transactions and for the restructuring of existing loans., • Oversee due diligence to uncover operational issues, loan-structure weaknesses, and hidden opportunities., • Evaluate third-party reports, appraisals, rent rolls, and servicer communications to build a full picture of each asset., • Use findings to strengthen CASE’s negotiating position and validate or challenge assumptions in the business plan., • Coordinate with the modeling and analyst team, who assist in developing data, models, and underlying assumptions., • Partner with the strategy team, who interpret the full picture that emerges from your diligence work., • Ensure that every project — from data collection to strategic interpretation — is tightly aligned, current, and actionable., • Support communication with lenders, borrowers, and special servicers., • Prepare and review funding requests, lease approvals, and modification materials with full understanding of context and risk., • Review and interpret key provisions in loan documents, leases, and guarantees., • Highlight structural risks, obligations, or advantages that may influence the team’s negotiating or ownership strategy. WHAT DEFINES SUCCESS AT CASE You bring the rigor of credit, the instincts of ownership, and the discipline of follow-through. You turn fragmented data into clarity — connecting operational, financial, and legal details into a coherent story that informs action. You’re not guessing at strategy; you’re powering it through insight and preparation. CASE hires only those who can grow into leadership roles within the firm. The professionals who thrive here learn every layer of the business — from diligence to decision — and build the judgment and fluency to one day command a room. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 6+ years in CRE lending, credit, underwriting, asset management, or loan workouts (preferably a mix). * Deep understanding of property operations and their relationship to financing — including how performance, capital needs, and tenancy impact both new originations and loan restructurings. * Ability to read and interpret leases, loan documents, and guarantees. * Advanced Excel skills; Argus familiarity preferred (analyst support provided). * Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. * Proven ability to organize information, prioritize deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. * In-office presence required (4–5 days per week). We don’t hire many people, but the ones we do, we invest in. We’re not looking for followers who check boxes. We’re looking for thinkers who execute. Whether you choose to build your long-term future with us or take what you’ve learned into the next stage of your career, your time at CASE will give you the kind of insight and experience that would otherwise take a decade to acquire. Together, we grow CASE. Together, we help you see aspects of the business that few get to learn until much later in their career, if at all. ———————————— CASE is an equal opportunity employer. Company Description- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ABOUT CASE CASE Equity Partners is a real estate investment and advisory platform built to create value from complexity. For more than 35 years, the leadership of CASE has invested in, operated, and transformed commercial real estate. At most firms, professionals spend years confined to narrow roles, seeing only fragments of the process. At CASE, the success of our business depends on understanding the full vertical — from property operations to financing, from diligence through execution. That means your exposure and learning curve here will be faster and broader than almost anywhere else in the industry. You’ll learn how operational realities shape capital decisions, how financing structures drive outcomes, and how those insights connect across every discipline of the firm. For our restructuring advisory, our knowledge is built on the asset side. Our deep diligence review and loan experience builds a credible baseline. As lenders evaluate collateral, we refine our clients value-creation narrative, identify hidden risks, and structure actionable solutions—ranging from discounted payoffs to covenant amendments. We lead negotiations with lenders and servicers, coordinating closely with legal teams to focus efforts where they matter most. Our investment initiatives combines strategic vision, structured finance expertise, and hands-on asset management. The firm and its affiliated family office manage a nationwide portfolio of more than 60 properties spanning multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, and industrial assets. From the early days of the family office in the 1990s—when others fled troubled markets—a reputation was built by acquiring and repositioning distressed assets at significant discounts. Following the Global Financial Crisis, the platform expanded into distressed debt and structured finance, mastering CMBS, SASB, private credit, and balance-sheet lending. Through its advisory arm (CPS, formerly Case Property Services), the firm represents borrowers and investors in complex restructurings, bringing together deep capital markets knowledge with the operational discipline required to turn around high-stakes assets. This evolution unites institutional advisory experience and principal investment capability (though we do not invest in our advisory projects), enabling CASE to deliver high-value solutions across the entire capital stack—from bonds and loans to property equity.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - \r\nABOUT CASE\r\n\r\nCASE Equity Partners is a real estate investment and advisory platform built to create value from complexity.
