Join our healthcare team today! • Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 – Located in the Finger Lakes, Ithaca is known for its natural beauty, top-rated restaurants, and lively arts and culture scene., • Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (21 monitored beds, 5 psych safe rooms, 3+ hall beds), • Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (potential for permanent placement), • Start Date: December 16, 2024, • End Date: March 17, 2025, • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week), • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2080 - $2220, • Employment Type: Travel RN job, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state, • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required, • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, • CPI, NIHSS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications preferred, • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, time management, and organizational skills, • Ability to float to Med/Surg or ICU as needed, • Deliver direct patient care and family support within the full RN scope of practice, • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate emergency patient care programs and services, • Collect and assess patient data, plan individualized care, and evaluate patient outcomes, • Coordinate patient flow and staff assignments as Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department, • Receive pre-arrival EMS reports and coordinate with triage and house supervisors, • Collaborate with ward clerks, provider staff, ED techs, RNs, and crisis evaluators GHR Healthcare Job ID #421532.
