Job Description THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE Now Hiring: IT Support and Office Assistant – MSP (Long Island, NY) About Us We’re a boutique IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving businesses throughout Long Island with responsive, reliable, and relationship-driven IT support. As we expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented IT Support and Office Assistant to join our team. This role has growth potential either within the technology team or in operations. About the Role This is a blended role where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, helping to log and route technical requests, and assist with various administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly. Responsibilities Client Support / Ticket Management * Answer and route incoming calls and emails professionally. * Gather preliminary information and create accurate service tickets in our system. * Assign or escalate tickets to the appropriate technician. * Track open tickets and follow up on unresolved client issues. Administrative Support * Schedule appointments and coordinate technician dispatches. * Maintain and update client documentation and internal knowledge base. * Assist with light office duties (filing, ordering supplies, managing calendars). * Help with client communication (status updates, scheduling reminders, etc.). ✅ Qualifications * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Tech-savvy and comfortable using IT tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, ticketing systems). * Previous experience in an MSP, IT help desk, or customer service role is a plus. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, small-team environment. * Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Bonus Points For * Familiarity with PSA/RMM tools like Autotask, ConnectWise, or similar. * Basic understanding of IT services and terminology (no troubleshooting required). * Experience supporting a technical or services-based team.
