Job Summary Reporting to the Program Director, the Director of Operations ensures that the operations of the facility including maintenance, repair, fire safety, kitchen operations, and security comply with regulatory agency policies and procedures. The Director of Operations works in collaboration with the Director of Social Services and clinical staff to ensure the safety of all clients. The Director of Operations supervises all operations staff. The Director of Operations will be an active listener and provide high quality customer service and respond by exhibiting cross-cultural awareness with the ability to promote and contribute to an equitable and inclusive anti-racist organizational culture and environment. Performs all other duties as assigned and as required. Qualifications, Education and Experience • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent is required. Some college is preferred., • Minimum of three years building operations and security experience with at least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a social service facility., • Experience with individuals experiencing homeless and/or mentally illness and substance abuse population preferred. Skills & Competencies • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of web-based applications for building maintenance and operations., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness., • Plumbing, heating, carpentry and electrical experience and ability to perform routine repairs., • Work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures., • Bi/Multi-lingual a plus. Job Description The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks a Social Worker to provide comprehensive and clinically focused case management and support services for clients of The Friedman Residence to help them maximize their capacity for independent living. This includes primary intensive case management/counseling for residents identified as having the most significant psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. This is currently a hybrid position. RESPONSIBILITIES The Social Worker will manage clinical cases for a caseload of residents receiving HRA HASA Supportive Housing Services in addition to seniors, low income working or disabled residents identified as having significant mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The Social Worker will assist clients in maintaining medical, emotional and housing stability utilizing counseling interventions and appropriate referrals, and maintain a consistent schedule of face to face client contacts. This includes orientation, interventions & counseling to address conflict resolutions when roommate conflicts arise. The Social Worker will assist in the coordination of estate planning, including required legal documents such as power of attorney and living will; advocate for clients in obtaining and maintaining all eligible entitlements and services. Maintain confidential up-to-date records, logs, release forms, and charts for each resident and assure the confidentiality of all information. The Social Worker is responsible for maintaining documentation in assigned time frames. This position will conduct intake social service interviews for new applicants which include applicant interviews & assessments/evaluations for appropriateness for shared living, roommate interviews, and program orientation to support services, and conduct initial assessment interviews with new residents, documenting a plan of service, established client/SW goals, and a time frame for follow up and review. Job Description The Publicist plays an essential role in the Museum’s Communications Department, taking primary responsibility for cultivating substantive press coverage and implementing strategic public relations plans for the Whitney’s exhibitions, public and educational programs, and institutional initiatives. Additional responsibilities include drafting press materials; oversight of the Museum’s media contact database; producing press coverage reports; and overseeing film, television, and photography shoots in the Museum.
