Job Description Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Vineland, NJ 13 Weeks 36 Hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Job Summary This position is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Respiratory Care process of assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The RRT collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery towards the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Respiratory Care process., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes., • Perform respiratory therapy procedures and interventions as needed., • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and institutional standards. Qualifications and Requirements Education, • Active RRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)., • Active Respiratory Care licensure by the New Jersey Board of Respiratory Care. Experience, • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. Certifications, • Basic Life Support (BLS) required., • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required., • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required (must be in hand prior to starting; AHA certifications preferred). Additional Information Schedule and Work Details:, • Holidays: Every other., • RTO (Requested Time Off): No more than 3 days., • Weekends/Schedule: Every other weekend/as needed., • Scrub Color: [Not specified in provided details; confirm with hiring manager.] Orientation and First Day Instructions, • Important Note: Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination. All assigned modules must be completed by Monday, or the candidate will be removed from the orientation list., • In-person class schedule: Typically held Tuesday through Thursday at multiple locations. The location may not be listed in the original email; candidates are required to use HealthStream to determine the class location on the day of the class. *Note: The POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) class is required and is not during orientation week., • Unit-based orientation schedule, as provided by the manager., • Badge ID Link: Instructions on how to make an appointment to receive their ID badge in person. Photo submissions are not permitted. This must be completed during orientation.
