    The Producer Coffee Studio is a local coffee shop that believes in the harmony between caffeine and creativity- blending two of our passions into one place! Though different, music and coffee are all about one thing: the process. When making coffee, the blend of beans, roasts and grinds compose a good drink. In mixing music, the notes and harmony are important to make a good set. Both require balance, stability, and, well, good taste. We are looking for full-time and part-time baristas that have a passion for coffee. Baristas are responsible for various duties including but not limited to: · Welcoming customers in a positive manner and providing an exceptional guest experience. · Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment in line with Dept. of Health and company standards. · Developing an understanding of our coffees, teas, baked goods, and merchandise to drive sales and service. · Taking customer orders, making product recommendations and processing transactions. · Preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks including espresso-based beverages on La Marzocco espresso machinery, cold brew batches, and teas in line with The Producer Coffee Studio’s standards. · Assisting new staff and helping to train on coffee shop routines. · Contribute to a culture of innovation by providing ideas for house and seasonal coffee and tea beverages. · Other duties and special projects may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications and skills: · 2 Years of coffee shop experience is required. · Must be able to steam milk for various espresso based drinks. · Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for music and coffee as well as a desire to educate others about our coffee. · Knowledge of POS systems and experience providing training is preferred. · High energy and outgoing personality, professional demeanor. · Must be punctual and reliable, always on time. · Must be able to multi task. · Must have welcoming personality. · Ability to take direction, receive coaching to execute at a high level. · Able to work a flexible schedule and are available to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideally would be able to commit to working 3-5 days per week. Physical Demands: · Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move about the café. · Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers to operate the espresso machine, cash register, among others · Must have the ability to taste and smell of coffee. · Must have ability to speak and hear to frequently communicate with customers. · Carry weight, lift – lift up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally · Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach above shoulder level and below waist level, for example, to grab boxes or cups

Role Overview: As the Produce Department Manager, you are a key player in overseeing and managing all aspects of the produce department including but not limited to: department profitability, displays, oversee inventory control and leading the team to successfully drive business/sales. Our guest is the heart of our business. As the Produce Department Manager, you will be responsible for providing every guest with an exceptional shopping experience; listening and responding to their needs and being the subject matter expert of your department. All Produce Department Managers must have produce and perishable foods knowledge, hospitality skills, positive energy, be dependable, possess basic math skills and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities & Duties: • Model and deliver exceptional guest service and ensure guest needs are met in a timely fashion., • Oversee day to day operations of the produce department., • Receive merchandise, break down pallets, manage vendor invoices and make sure product is to Citarella standards., • Manage department profitability, merchandising, guest service, appearance, and team member supervision., • Write department schedules, approve team members PTO time, maintain timecards and manage labor., • Supervise team members ensuring service standards are always being met., • Basic knife skills., • Manage and maintain department inventory levels., • Collaborate with buyer to ensure proper product assortment, merchandising, ordering and inventory control., • Monitor quality, freshness, culling of merchandise, and safeguard proper product rotation. Adhere to all DOH, DOA and OSHA standards., • Ensure department is cleaned and maintained throughout all shifts (produce displays, coolers, and work areas etc.), • Maintain accurate department signage and pricing., • Direct and support team members on department opening and closing procedures., • Assist store leadership, as required, to select, train, develop, and mentor team members., • Cultivate, develop and retain team members by way of motivation, and providing feedback., • Adhere to all assigned duties by management team. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing a produce department in a grocery store environment., • Flexibility schedule including nights, weekends and holidays., • Ability to perform physical requirements of job including standing during scheduled hours, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, lifting, push and pull items of usually 20-75 pounds., • Vast knowledge of handling perishable items and product rotation., • Food safety and sanitation knowledge., • Ability to show initiative, work with limited supervision, and are self-motivated., • Ability to hire, train, inspire and develop a team., • Team builder and brand ambassador., • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills., • Analytical thinking and proficiency in math needed to perform job responsibilities., • Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel IN RETURN, WE OFFER!
