Join a leading Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab delivering advanced arrhythmia care in a nationally recognized cardiac program. \n\nJob Details\n\n • Position: EP Lab Registered Nurse (RN) / Electrophysiology Nurse / EP Lab RN\n, • Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Boston travel nursing, Massachusetts nursing jobs)\n, • Setting: On-site, Cardiology EP Lab (Cardiac Cath Lab / Electrophysiology)\n, • Assignment Type: Travel (travel nurse opportunity)\n, • Start Date: March 30, 2026\n, • End Date: June 28, 2026\n, • Duration: 13 weeks\n, • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n, • Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)\n, • Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state) — Massachusetts nursing license preferred\n, • Minimum 1 year recent experience in an EP Lab, IR/EP, Cardiac Cath Lab, or similar procedural cardiology setting\n, • Strong understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology, hemodynamics, and arrhythmia management\n, • Proficiency with cardiac mapping, ablation systems, paging/monitoring equipment, and electronic medical records; Microsoft Office skills\n, • Current BLS; ACLS preferred or required per facility\n, • Radiation safety awareness and adherence to shielding and monitoring protocols\n, • Ability to lift supplies, assist with patient positioning, and respond to emergencies\n, • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams\n, • Flexible with shift coverage and occasional overtime as needed\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, catheter ablation, ICD implantation, and cardiac resynchronization therapy\n, • Prepare, monitor, and recover patients for EP procedures, ensuring appropriate pre- and post-procedure care and education\n, • Operate and support cardiac mapping, ablation, fluoroscopy, and monitoring equipment; troubleshoot devices in collaboration with EP techs and physicians\n, • Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to hemodynamic changes under established protocols\n, • Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, discharge instructions, and long-term arrhythmia management\n, • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and follow all hospital and regulatory policies\n, • Participate in continuing education and stay current on electrophysiology best practices and technologies\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #451673.
