This Boston nursing job offers access to renowned medical facilities, vibrant city life, and exceptional clinical experience.\n \n\nTravel Nurse Job Details\n\n • Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract\n, • Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Longwood Medical Area)\n, • Unit: Pediatric Cardiac ICU (CVICU/CICU) – 7/8 Hale CICU\n, • Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)\n, • Shifts: 3x12-hour shifts/week, nights (19:00 – 07:30); 50/50 day/night rotation or straight nights available\n, • Weekend Requirement: 3 of 6 weekends per contract\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470–$2540/week\n, • Charting System: EPIC\n, • Parking: Free for night shift; discounted day passes with shuttle service\n\n\nPICU RN Qualifications\n\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts permanent license required)\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric critical care nursing experience, including pre/post-op care for congenital heart disease (CHD)\n, • Prior travel nursing experience in a CICU or CVICU setting preferred\n, • Certifications: BLS and PALS (required)\n, • Experience caring for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease in CVICU/PICU\n, • Ability to float to MSICU, MICU, NICU, and ACCU units as needed\n, • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n, • Two professional references from two of the last three healthcare employers (must be from different facilities)\n\n\nPICU RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiac ICU, including pre- and post-operative care for congenital heart disease\n, • Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health record system\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n, • Float to other critical care units (MSICU, MICU, NICU, ACCU) as needed\n, • Participate in unit-based initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures\n We believe in empowering your career.
