Performs duties as assigned by the Facility Manager and/or Gold Seal Ensures continuous operation of all the facility utility systems and peripheral equipment to support the requirements of the production schedule and facility conditions. This requires proper coordination of all operations and maintenance utilities equipment. Coordinates both internal and external resources for maintenance of the facility. Assists in the record-keeping and training requirements for all components of the Process Safety Management/Risk (PSM/RMP management plans to achieve compliance with state and federal guidelines. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment to maintain in good working condition. Utilizes drawings, technical records, and vendor diagrams to complete Preventative Maintenance documents (PMs) related to machine overhauls and repairs. Performs other duties as assigned. Takes a leadership role on the emergency response team in the event of release of hazardous chemicals. Duties will include configuring services such as the Ceph file system and RADOS object gateway, investigating performance issues, and planning future hardware acquisition to grow the existing cluster. Principal Duties:1. Assist with the deployment and configuration of CephFS2. Monitor for issues and performance concerns with the file systems, clients, or the underlying infrastructure3. Integrate Ceph with our backup solution4. Advise and monitor the integration of the file system with HPC compute machines running Linux5.
