Job Description The FFT Therapist provides FFT (Functional Family Therapy) virtually, to a maximum of 10 voluntarily participating families at a time who reside in NYC. The target population of young adults (16-25 years old), who are referred to us after an arrest. This is a pilot program to offer FFT to families and young people who might otherwise find themselves incarcerated without this alternative. FFT is an evidence-based model which is home-based, intensive, family therapy. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, and program reviews. In addition to providing Family Therapy, the FFT Therapist will collaborate with other service providers, including but not limited to the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA). The FFT Therapist is required to complete all FFT documentation requirements, including meeting appropriate therapeutic and engagement requirements and assessing for family safety and risk. Supervisors play a central role in shaping clinical excellence, promoting ethical and equitable care, and fostering a culture where clinicians feel both supported and accountable. This role supervises pre-licensed Associate Therapists, including LMSWs, MHC-LPs, and MFT-LPs, and serves as a strategic partner to the VP of Clinical Services in advancing MyWellbeing’s mission and clinical standards. What You Will Do1. Clinical Supervision & Availability * Supervise approximately 12–15 Associate Therapists. * Conduct biweekly individual supervision sessions per supervisee. * Hold virtual office hours once weekly for clinical consultation. * Lead group supervision for cohorts 2 times per cohort per month. * Maintain timely responsiveness to supervisee clinical questions during regular working hours, including urgent support needs related to client safety and consultation within established escalation protocols. * Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support crisis escalation and clinician consultation on client safety. * Provide clear guidance rooted in ethics, cultural humility, and clinical best practices. 2. Clinical Quality & Documentation Oversight * Review and approve supervisee documentation, including: * Intake assessments and diagnoses (within 48 hours) * Treatment plans and progress notes (by 7pm ET Friday for preceding 7 days) * Mental status exams and other clinical forms * Ensure documentation meets licensure, insurance, and MyWellbeing compliance standards. * Support clinicians in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and progress tracking. 3. About the Role Charlie Health is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as Clinical Admissions Therapist. The Clinical Admissions Therapist will be responsible for meeting with clients upon admission, building rapport, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and establishing treatment needs. Responsibilities • Demonstrate personable and competent communication skills to develop rapport with clients and referral sources, • Present programming information in a thorough and supportive manner to help clients gain access to care, • Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults with various mental health concerns, • Determine appropriateness and fit for virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care, • Construct provisional mental health diagnoses utilizing DSM-V criteria, • Document client information in accordance with regulatory standards using electronic medical record, • Assign treatment team members and group schedules while informing staff of new admissions, • Interface with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams in facilitating intake, • Collaborate with referral sources: hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers upon admission, • Looking to cover the following shifts to meet the schedules and needs of our clients:, • Mornings and Afternoons - Must be available 11am - 7pm MT, • Afternoons and Evenings - Must be available 12pm - 8pm MT, • Weekends encouraged, • Will consider alternative availability on individual basis, • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Access to reliable technology resources to deliver uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services, • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality of careRequirements, • Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults preferred, • Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions preferred, • Independent licensure in a mental health field required Additional Information Note to Colorado applicants: applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis The expected base pay for this role will be between $60,000 and $75,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
