We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for distribution. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Duties
Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and lift trucks safely and efficiently.
Inspect products for quality assurance before packing them for shipment.
Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage packing processes.
Follow OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Perform equipment repairs as needed to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing goals and deadlines.
Experience
Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is beneficial.
Experience operating pallet jacks reach trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods is essential.
