Job Description WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / ORDER FULFILLMENT ASSOCIATE Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Help drive a fast-growing eCommerce operation by picking, packing, moving, and shipping customer orders with speed, urgency, accuracy, and reliability. POSITION SNAPSHOT Title: Warehouse Associate / Order Fulfillment Associate Location: Inwood, NY, directly across the Queens border from Far Rockaway and minutes from the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue A train terminal Schedule: Full-Time. Sunday availability required. Saturday normally scheduled off, with a weekday off based on department schedule. Overtime, extended shifts, and additional workdays may be required based on business needs. Our warehouse operation is critical to delivering that experience. The Warehouse Associate / Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for helping move customer orders and inventory through our facility quickly, accurately, safely, and consistently. This is not a slow-paced warehouse position. We operate in a high-volume eCommerce environment where employees are expected to maintain a fast, sustained work pace throughout the shift while continuing to meet accuracy, quality, and safety expectations. The right person for this role already understands warehouse work. You should be comfortable being on your feet throughout the day, moving continuously, lifting and handling merchandise, working against daily productivity expectations, and operating warehouse equipment safely. Above almost everything else, reliability matters. We need people who show up when scheduled, arrive on time, come prepared to work, and can be counted on by their team. The strongest candidate will also have the flexibility to stay beyond a scheduled shift, work overtime, or work an additional day when business volume requires it. We want leaders in every position. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR • Pick customer orders quickly and accurately using established warehouse processes, • Pack and prepare orders securely and efficiently for shipment, • Process and move orders through internal systems and shipping workflows, • Load, unload, stage, and move inventory throughout the warehouse, • Receive incoming shipments and place inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations, • Replenish picking locations and support inventory movement as needed, • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, • Maintain organized inventory and clean, safe work areas, • Meet daily productivity, throughput, accuracy, and quality expectations, • Work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining safe work practices, • Support shipping cutoffs and daily order-volume requirements, • Work collaboratively with warehouse leadership and other team members to complete daily priorities, • Remain flexible as operational needs shift throughout the day, • Stay beyond your scheduled shift, work overtime, or work additional days when required based on business volume, • Perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and moving merchandise QUALIFICATIONS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for individuals who: • Already have prior warehouse experience, • Understand what it means to work in a fast-paced, high-output warehouse environment, • Show up on time, every time, and take attendance and reliability seriously, • Work with urgency and maintain a fast, consistent pace throughout the day, • Can move quickly without sacrificing accuracy or safety, • Are physically capable of staying active and productive throughout a full warehouse shift, • Are self-motivated and productive without needing constant supervision, • Take ownership of their responsibilities and care about hitting goals and KPIs, • Are flexible with scheduling and willing to stay late, work overtime, or work additional days when needed, • Work well as part of a team and are willing to help wherever operational needs are greatest, • Bring a positive attitude, accountability, and strong work ethic every dayWAREHOUSE EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE Prior experience operating at least one piece of powered warehouse equipment is required. Candidates must have hands-on experience safely operating at least one of the following: • Electric Pallet Jack, • Order Picker / Floor Picker, • Forklift, • Reach Truck Experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment is strongly preferred. Candidates should be prepared to explain which equipment they have operated, how frequently they used it, and their level of proficiency. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds regularly, • Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift, • Ability to remain physically active throughout the workday, • Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, and movement, • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and navigate warehouse aisles, • Physical stamina and endurance to maintain productivity throughout a full shift, • Ability to work at a fast, consistent pace in a physically demanding warehouse environmentQUALIFICATIONSRequired, • 1+ year of prior warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or similar experience, • Hands-on experience operating at least one of the following: Electric Pallet Jack, Order Picker, Forklift, or Reach Truck, • Experience working in a warehouse where speed, productivity, accuracy, and daily output matter, • Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance record, • Ability to work at a fast, sustained pace throughout the shift, • Ability to work full-time on-site in Inwood, NY, • Flexibility to remain after scheduled hours and work overtime or additional days when operationally necessary, • Sunday availability, • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 50+ lbs and remaining on your feet for extended periods, • Ability to follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment requirements, • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate internal order or warehouse systemsPreferred, • Experience operating multiple types of warehouse equipment, • Picking and order-fulfillment experience, • Experience in high-volume eCommerce, distribution, or fulfillment operations, • Experience working with daily quotas, KPIs, throughput targets, or productivity standards, • Bilingual English/Spanish, • Candidates who live within approximately 30 minutes of the facility, whether commuting by car, public transportation, walking, or another reliable method, • Candidates already commuting from nearby Queens, Far Rockaway, Five Towns, Nassau County, or surrounding areas, • Overtime as-needed, • Lunch provided daily ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a fully on-site role in Inwood, NY. Because attendance and punctuality are critical to the operation, candidates should carefully consider the reliability and length of their daily commute before applying. We strongly prefer candidates who can consistently reach the facility within approximately 30 minutes. This role requires scheduling flexibility. Warehouse volume can change based on customer demand, peak periods, carrier deadlines, and operational needs.
