Warehouse Manager — New Jersey Location: Linden, New Jersey Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Level: P7 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our New Jersey warehouse operation. This role is responsible for overall site performance, safety, team management, KPI achievement, labor efficiency, and operational profitability. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and exception handling. This person must be hands-on, data-driven, and able to lead both supervisors and hourly associates in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. Success in this role requires strong leadership, clear communication, structured problem-solving, and the ability to build scalable warehouse processes. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure orders are processed accurately, safely, and on time., • Own key warehouse KPIs, including outbound performance, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, order accuracy, inbound/putaway timeliness, and exception closure., • Manage, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and warehouse associates., • Build a strong warehouse leadership structure and support employee performance evaluations and career development., • Identify operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions., • Maintain and improve warehouse SOPs to ensure standardized, efficient, and scalable processes., • Enforce safety policies, conduct safety follow-ups, and maintain a safety-first culture., • Ensure warehouse equipment, tools, systems, and supplies are properly maintained and ready for daily operations., • Manage labor, equipment, and operational costs to support site profitability., • Respond to major incidents, including safety issues, system outages, inventory discrepancies, service failures, and customer escalations., • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management, including performance trends, risks, root causes, and action plans. Basic Qualifications • 4+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations experience., • 2+ years of people management experience, including hourly associates and frontline leaders., • Experience managing warehouse KPIs, labor productivity, service levels, and daily execution., • Strong understanding of inbound, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and exception handling., • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or extended hours when needed., • OSHA 30 certification required, or ability to complete certification within a company-approved timeframe., • Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment when necessary., • Bilingual English/Chinese or English/Spanish required . Preferred Qualifications • Experience in 3PL, e-commerce fulfillment, cross-border e-commerce, or overseas warehouse operations., • Experience with WMS, OMS, ERP, carrier portals, and operational reporting tools., • Strong Excel and data analysis skills., • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methods., • Experience managing parcel, LTL, or large-parcel carrier operations. Compensation The total annual compensation package for this role is $70,000–$100,000, including base salary and annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on experience, leadership ability, warehouse performance, and company policy. Paid vacation/PTO is provided.
