The Opportunity: We are seeking skilled and compassionateBoard Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)to join our team in our partnership school districts (may include Scotch Plains/Fanwood, NJ or KIPP Charter Schools in Newark, NJ or others). The ideal candidate will work closely with students, staff, and families to develop and implement behavior interventions that enhance student success in the school setting. The BCBA Consultant will provide direct support to students with behavioral needs, collaborate with teachers and other professionals, and offer guidance on best practices in behavior management and support strategies. What youll do/ Key Responsibilities: • Behavioral Assessment and Intervention Planning:, • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), • Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), • Monitor and adjust behavior plans as needed, ensuring they align with the students academic and social needs, • Collaboration & Consultation:, • Provide tier 1 (whole school or whole group), tier 2 (small groups), and tier 3 (individualized) supports behavior supports based on the schools need (in general education, inclusive spaces and special-education classrooms), • Work with teachers, support staff and administrators to support the implementation of behavioral interventions in the classroom and other school environments, • Provide professional development and training to school staff on behavior management strategies, data collection and other evidence-based practices, • Collaborate with Special Education Teams to ensure students behavioral needs are integrated into their IEPs (as needed), • Data Collection & Analysis:, • Establish and maintain data collection systems to monitor student progress and effectiveness of interventions, • Analyze data regularly to track progress and make data-driven decisions for modifying behavior interventions, • Report on progress and updates in monthly consult summaries and marking period progress reports, • Ongoing Professional Development:, • Education/Certification:, • Masters Degree (in ABA, Special Ed, Psychology or Related field) (required), • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification from the BACB (required), • Would also consider a Bachelors Level BCaBA (contact us for more details), • Experience:, • Minimum of 2 years experience conducting FBAs and writing BIPs, • Competitive Compensation/hourly rate with additional reimbursement for indirect hours and travel time, • Flexible Scheduling: build a caseload that fits your lifestyle and professional interests, • Benefits package (part time and full time benefits vary) including accrued sick leave, 401(k) with matching contributions, life insurance, health/vision/dental insurance options for full time At ABA Solutions, we believe in investing in our team members. Job Description Job description Mentor Role: • To provide guidance and supervision, and to act as a positive adult role model to a young male adult., • To understand and administer client's written treatment plan as required and to work with client first to resolve any issues. The plan was authored by the treatment team in conjunction with the client and specifies his good faith commitment to abide by the established rules and guidelines., • To assist client with accountability, organization of school and treatment related assignments and materials, calendar planning, time management, home management skills, community service projects and overall implementation of his full-time program., • To monitor the client in all activities both in and outside of the home and school., • To provide transportation for the client when needed., • To chaperone the client to outside social events, activities, family vacations or other functions as deemed necessary., • To assist family consultant in delivering didactic and experiential education sessions that teach daily living skills, social skills, cognitive restructuring, building self confidence, motivational skills, alternative coping skills and other skills as needed., • To work in collaboration with biological parents, clinical staff and family consultant in all aspects of duties and responsibilities., • Take the lead in supporting a young male through an ongoing, one-to-one relationship., • Serve as a positive role model and friend., • Build the relationship by planning and participating in activities together., • Strive for mutual respect., • Build self-esteem and motivation., • Use of a conceptual framework for human development and related problems., • Ability to develop alliances and maintain appropriate boundaries., • Knowledge of and ability to utilize de-escalation skills in a volatile situation., • Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally and use e-mail, text messages, social networking websites., • Be health conscious, athletic and in good shape., • Knowledge of and understanding of the federal confidentiality requirements., • Make a minimum of a one-year commitment/ninety days probation., • Spend constructive one-to-one time with a mentee up to twice a week., • Communicate with the mentee weekly., • Document in writing, time spent with Client each day. Together, we serve as a dedicated team of licensed counselors, teachers, paraprofessional and support staff.Founded in 2003, PRN for FamiliesTM is a home-based program for families who have children or teenagers who are out of control or at imminent risk of being separated from their family. PRN is now expanding to work with local Colorado families to provide needed services on a daily basis by adding a Day Treatment Program. Together, we serve as a dedicated team of licensed counselors, teachers, paraprofessional and support staff.
