Under the guidance of the Head of F&B, you’ll be serving to our guests our delicious dishes and creative cocktails as well as thinking of new ways to improve our service and surprise our guests. Greet all guests warmly and by name, escort guests to their table, provide chair assistance for all guests, and menu presentation. Approach guest and collect information needed to assist with seat arrangements. Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves. To serve food and beverage orders according to recipes and service standards. To be knowledgeable about products available. Work with the rest of team in keeping things running smoothly and tidily, for both table and bar service.

Under the guidance of the Front Office and Guest Experience teams, you will act as a key point of contact in the lobby, delivering exceptional guest service from arrival to departure and ensuring memorable first and last impressions. In the first part of the internship, the first month, the student will be in the main kitchen of the hotel, where they will be part of various processes and sales points carried out from this kitchen. These include: Production Kitchen – Butchering and portioning meats and fish, preparing bases, pasteurizing stocks, sauces, preserves, and packaging. Banquet Service and Plating – Plating and regenerating group menus, serving coffee breaks and contracted breakfasts. Pastry and Bakery – Preparing desserts, making pastries, bread, and specialties for all hotel restaurants, providing breakfast service in the hotel buffet, show cooking, and creating signature juices. During the second part, the second month of the internship, the student will be part of the team at Lora, a Levantine cuisine restaurant with a Mediterranean soul. The student will rotate through the different sections of the restaurant, which include: Cold Kitchen – Preparing mezzes and starters, recipe bases for finishing in the hot section, marinating, and making stocks. Grill and Oven Kitchen – Facing the customer, preparing "flatbreads" or Arabic bread. We grill marinated meats on skewers and expertly roast the finest fresh fish. Sweet Kitchen – Arabic specialties complement a Mediterranean offer, which will be guided by a renowned pastry chef. In the third part of the internship, the last month, the student will be trained in the more technical side of the kitchen, where our Executive Chef and Kitchen Coordinator will instruct them in: Costing and Technical Sheets of Dishes: Profitability ratios and cost vs. profitability. Inventory Control and Valuation: Minimum stocks, par stock, and an introduction to our purchasing and ordering system, both internal and external. HACCP Protocols: Completing self-control sheets according to current legislation.

BOAT LICENSE REQUIRED About Seaesta Seaesta is a digital-first boat rental startup at Port Fòrum, Barcelona. Our mission is to make nautical experiences effortless, from booking to boarding, fully online and hassle-free. As we grow, we're building a small, reliable team to deliver a flawless experience at the dock every day. The Role This role has two sides: running our dock operations, and actively growing our bookings. Dock operations a) Check-in: Welcome clients at the dock, verify ID and booking, explain the boat controls and safety rules, complete the rental paperwork, and assist with departure. b) Check-out: Receive the boat on return, carry out a full condition inspection (hull, engine, propeller, equipment), take photos and upload them to the shared folder, file a damage report with the client if needed, and close the rental documentation. Each check-out includes a basic clean of the boat. c) End of day: The last check-out of the day includes extra time to thoroughly clean both boats and prepare them for the following day. Business development During the day you'll actively promote Seaesta around the area: handing out flyers, visiting and building relationships with hotels and Airbnb hosts, and driving direct bookings. Under the guidance of the Call Center Manager, you will provide support in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests while maintaining the property’s service standards. You will: Answer internal and external phone calls promptly and courteously. Manage guest requests during their stay, providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and schedules.
