About Eltex Eltex is building the technological infrastructure for residential electrification in Europe, one of the structurally largest and least digitized markets within the energy transition. We operate an integrated platform that connects digital acquisition, structured financing, operational execution, and long-term maintenance into a single scalable system. By controlling the value chain end-to-end, we capture margin across multiple layers, optimize installation-level unit economics, and build operational visibility into a traditionally fragmented market. Our ambition is to become the reference platform for home electrification in Europe, building a business defined by disciplined margins, capital efficiency, and structured international expansion. Now we are looking for a CFO with a builder and investor mindset. Mission As CFO, your mission is to ensure the financial and legal solidity of Eltex while we scale a pan-European electrification platform. You will: Protect and optimize cash in a high-ticket, project-based environment Structure growth with rigor, visibility, and discipline Partner directly with the CEO on capital, liquidity, and scale Build a financial system that enables expansion without loss of control This is not an advisory role. This is an execution role with full ownership. Role within the Company Report directly to the CEO Own the full Finance and Legal functions Act as both strategic and operational partner in key decisions Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Procurement, and People Structure and lead the Finance and Legal teams You are responsible for ensuring that growth is supported by real financial control and institutional-grade governance. Core Responsibilities Full Finance Leadership Oversee accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, reporting, and audit Lead the monthly close process Deliver investor reporting and board-ready materials Cash & Working Capital Management Own weekly cash forecasting Manage working capital and payment cycles Monitor runway and liquidity positioning AR & Collections Reduce days receivable Enforce payment discipline Implement escalation protocols when necessary Unit Economics & Margin Control Model unit economics by product (solar, heat pumps, batteries, EV charging) Analyze profitability by geography (Spain and Italy) Analyze profitability by channel (B2C and B2B) Ensure fully loaded contribution margin control at installation level Banking & Capital Structure Manage banking relationships Negotiate credit facilities and debt instruments Ensure covenant compliance Legal Oversight Supervise contracts and corporate governance Manage legal risk exposure Coordinate with external counsel Structure & Controls Oversee multi-entity and cross-border reporting Control intercompany flows Implement approval workflows and spending thresholds Enforce cost discipline Hire, structure, and scale the Finance and Legal teams Operational Presence Participate in high-impact spending decisions Stay embedded in operational discussions Hold difficult conversations when required Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured through: Cash predictability (forecast vs actual) Working capital optimization and reduction in DSO Accuracy and timeliness of financial closes Quality and clarity of board and investor reporting Installation-level margin control Covenant compliance Effective implementation of financial controls Strength and performance of the Finance team Absence of material financial surprises The objective is clear: real control, full visibility, and disciplined scalability. Profile We Are Looking For Proven Finance leadership experience in scaling companies Experience in project-based or high-ticket businesses Strong cash-control mindset (you think in weekly liquidity, not quarterly optics) Experience owning or closely managing Legal Multi-entity and cross-border exposure Clear communicator with investors, banks, and founders Comfortable working on-site in Barcelona Strong plus: Renewable energy, construction, or home services experience Familiarity with Spanish regulatory frameworks Experience building or restructuring finance teams Mindset You do not operate in isolation You stay close to the business You challenge pending decisions when necessary You communicate uncomfortable truths when required If something is broken, you fix it eltex is an equal opportunity employer.
