Hey Sunshine, You're a pro when it comes to planning and behind-the-scenes magic? You believe that your work should be a place with personality and soul, where new ideas come to life? Then you are the missing olive to our Martini, the missing melody in our music and the heartbeat of our Rubyverse. We are a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in some of Europe's most exciting locations and many more projects under construction. We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury. Our team is all about growth: scouting new locations, securing exciting properties, and pushing Ruby’s unique brand forward. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our portfolio, bringing our Lean Luxury philosophy to new places, and turning bold ideas into real-life hotels with soul. Join us and make it your own story. Trust us, you won't get bored, as you: independently lead acquisition and negotiation processes for hotel projects in Spain and Portugal – from first contact to signed deal analyse potential sites and structures, develop feasibility studies, and shape tailor-made project strategies negotiate term sheets and contracts with property owners, investors, and developers coordinate internal and external stakeholders across all project phases – from design and technical planning to commercial evaluation continuously develop our internal toolbox (contract templates, cost benchmarks, planning standards, etc.) represent Ruby at industry events, drive PR opportunities, and manage key accounts throughout the project lifecycle support strategic decision-making through well-structured reports, presentations, and documentation We've been waiting for you, since you have/are: bring at least 3 years of experience in hotel development, ideally on operator side have a strong track record of independently closing deals and managing multi-stakeholder projects know the Spanish hotel and real estate market inside out – and ideally already have a valuable network there communicate fluently in English and Spanish (German is a plus) have a hands-on mentality, love taking ownership, and navigate complex situations with structure and confidence enjoy working with diverse teams and building long-term partnerships What's in for you? That's how we groove: your style, your smile, your ideas – bring your personality to work. We’re always looking for friendly faces and passionate team players. Not perfect CVs, but great personalities, who’ll help us create hotels and workspaces with character and soul. So, whatever makes you tick, join us and start your Ruby story. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion We believe that... ...you can love whoever you want to ...you should decide for yourself whether and with which pronouns you would like to be addressed ...you can be proud of your heritage and culture ...you don't have to justify your religion or world view ...you are good, just as you are and make our team and Ruby's diversity unique We can't deal with: isms Racism, sexism, heterosexism, antisemitism, and such kind of isms are not tolerated here. Department: Event Language required: English. The company We break new ground with our Lean Luxury philosophy, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury. For us, luxury means uncomplicated comfort instead of formalities. Inspiring people instead of beautiful facades. Soul and character instead of glossy surfaces. For us, lean means not having to pay for anything you don't need or want. Simply leaving away the unimportant. In hotels, located in the heart of the city, we don't need a restaurant or room service. Instead, we want a casual bar that is open around the clock. We don't need huge rooms, since luxury is also possible in a small space. But we want that everything got its place and the most important things to work perfectly: Being connected, sleeping, freshening up. Diversity and being different is important to us, which is why we strive for a team where the most diverse bunch of people can find their place. With us, you should be yourself. Everyone brings their own rhythm and their own melody. This is how our unique groove comes to life. Did we mention, that we love music? As a team, we want to be the best at what we do. And we like to walk off the beaten path to do so. We enjoy what we do and don’t take ourselves too seriously. We prefer talking as equals with each other as well as with our guests, instead of hiding behind titles and formalities. We’re all united in our wish and goal: to give everyone – employees, guests and clients – the feeling of having arrived, where the real heart of the city beats. We’re not looking for a perfect CV, but rather a personality, which fits to our team. Sounds interesting? Apply now. Join us and make it your own story!

    Les Corts, Barcelona

Lead Product Engineer (Customer-Facing) Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid) Type: Full-time Level: Senior / Lead (hands-on) About Omniscope Omniscope is a TechBio company decoding the immune system at unprecedented resolution. Our proprietary immune profiling technology enables transformative insights into immune health, aging, and performance. We operate globally with a distributed team and are supported by top investors and public funding partners across Europe and the US. TL;DR Accelerate the company’s software roadmap. Own customer-facing products end-to-end. Ship fast, learn from feedback faster. Build both backend and UI. Connect the right data to the right UX so customers get value in minutes—not months. Pragmatic over perfect. The Role We’re hiring an ambitious, generalist Lead Product Engineer to be the technical driver behind customer-facing experiences. Although a small team will be built around you, this is a largely IC position reporting directly to the CEO. What You’ll Work On • Build & ship: Implement user-facing features across the stack (front end + back end + data plumbing). Releases at least weekly are normal, • Hook up data: Integrate and transform large datasets from internal systems to power product features and insights. This includes working with data conversion and integration to ensure seamless flow, • Automate delivery: Set up automated workflows to take data from the lab to graphs on the customer’s screen with minimal manual effort, • Make it usable: Sweat UX details; simplify flows; remove friction; with tight feedback loops, • Own quality pragmatically: Tests where they matter, feature flags, and basic observability—no heavyweight ceremony, • Lightweight leadership: Code reviews that unblock and mentorship that accelerates. No nit-picks. Direct feedback, • Iterate on the software that is the digital face of the company: your responsibility is build great user experiences You Might Be a Fit If You Have • A bias toward shipping customer value as quickly as possible, • 5+ years building customer-facing web products end-to-end, • Strength in one modern front end (React/Next.js or similar) and one back end (Python preferred, Node or others OK), plus SQL chops, • Substantial experience with using AI coding agents for production ready code, • Clear, concise communication—async friendly and customer aware. You track and document work for accountability and alignment, • Cloud (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, and basic security best practices, • Data visualization experience (dashboards that explain themselves), • Lean on coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex daily to do in minutes what would otherwise take hours What This Role Is Not • Not ML Ops or data-pipeline specialization, • Not a data science or research position. This is about building products, • Not perfection-for-perfection’s-sake engineering Why Join Omniscope Your work will be in the hands of real customers making real decisions. You’ll define how complex immune data becomes clear, actionable product experiences—fast. Join at an exciting stage (Pre-Series A) with visibility to the CEO and strong ownership of outcomes. Location & Language Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain Target: at least one week per month onsite Ideally: in-office Fluent English; Spanish is a plus Equal Employment Opportunity Omniscope is an equal opportunities employer. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other legally protected characteristics. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates with a passion for building products that make complex science useful. Omniscope also believes in rewarding employees with equity.
