Acting as a senior functional and technical specialist, this role bridges complex business needs with scalable technology solutions ERP, IBP, workflows and enterprise integration platforms, specifically JDE. Working closely with IT Operations, IT Solutions, business stakeholders and external support partners, the role provides deep functional expertise, leads solution design, and ensures high‑quality delivery, stability and continuous improvement of enterprise systems. The position requires strong analytical capability, technical understanding of integrations and data flows, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, multi‑system environments. /p h3bKey responsibilities Include: /b /h3 bSolution Design and Functional Leadership /b ul liLead the analysis and definition of complex business requirements across ERP, IBP, workflows and enterprise integration platforms. /li liTranslate business needs into high quality functional and non functional specifications aligned to enterprise architecture and best practice principles. /li liDesign end to end functional solutions, including process flows, data dependencies and integration touchpoints. /li liProvide expert input into ERP and integration design decisions to improve scalability, performance and business outcomes. /li liAct as a trusted advisor to IT and business stakeholders on enterprise application capabilities and solution options. /li /ul bConfiguration, Delivery and Implementation /b ul liConfigure and customise enterprise applications to support complex business processes, ensuring seamless integration across systems. /li liPartner with external support and delivery vendors to implement enhancements using established release and change frameworks. /li liLead functional delivery across the full lifecycle, from discovery and design through build, testing and deployment. /li liEnsure all changes comply with governance, security and change management standards. /li liDesign and oversee custom configurations, scripts and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs. /li /ul bTesting, Quality and Knowledge Management /b ul liDefine and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, integration and regression testing. /liliReview and validate test outcomes to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. /li liMaintain high quality documentation, solution artefacts and a knowledge base of defects, resolutions and lessons learned. /li liDrive continuous improvement in testing practices and solution quality. /li /ul bIncident, Problem and Operational Support /b ul liProvide senior functional support for major incidents, including root cause analysis and long term remediation planning. /li liTroubleshoot complex functional and integration issues across enterprise systems and backend platforms. /li liSupport critical releases and incidents outside of business hours when required. /li liPartner with IT Operations to improve system stability, monitoring and support processes. /li /ul bStakeholder, Vendor and Capability Leadership /b ul liLead engagement with senior business stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights. /li liManage relationships with third party providers and outsourced support partners, ensuring delivery quality and value. /li liContribute to capability uplift within the IT Solutions team through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring. /li liActively contribute to enterprise system roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives. /li /ul h3bWhat You'll Bring: /b /h3 ul liDemonstrated experience as a Senior Functional Analyst, Solution Analyst or Enterprise Applications Specialist supporting complex enterprise systems. /li liStrong understanding of commercial business processes and enterprise IT services within large or complex organisations. /li liProven experience across ERP systems, IBP processes, workflow solutions and enterprise integration platforms. /li liStrong data analysis and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to identify root causes and drive sustainable solutions. /li liExperience working with service management frameworks and tools (e.g. Ivanti) and outsourced delivery models. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels. /li liAbility to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in high‑pressure environments. /li liDemonstrated commercial acumen and strategic mindset, identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes. /li liTertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline desirable but not essential. /li /ul h3bOther requirements /b /h3 ul liSome business travel may be required from time to time /li liOccasional after-hours work may be required to engage with stakeholders and team members across time zones /li liHybrid working arrangement with at least three days in the office /li /ul h3bWhy Join Us? /b /h3 pVinarchy is a home for passionate people to do their very best work.
